USTI NAD LABEM-CZECH REPUBLIC (12 th-16th January 2015)
Czech Republic, the coordinator of our Project was
the first volunteer to gather up all the partners for the first time. The procedures of each country
allowing them to realize the mobilities were different. As this was the first
mobility, some countries including Turkey, Poland and France could go to Czech
Republic in January, which was originally scheduled in October. Estonian and
Greek partners would be the first ones to go there. Thank you super coordinator
Petra for organizing two different mobilities in your lovely country. Our
students who were a little bit nervous at the beginning, later asked us to stay
one more week. It was a great experience forthem tostay with a Czech family
and to be able to exchange cultures. We all loved your very beautiful school
and students. It was a big chance for us to watch an alive session of the
school parliament of your school. We are sure we will make use of your
brilliant ideas about your school council at home. The university lecturer
Honza’s workshop also contributed a lot to our understanding of the school
councils. We extended our way to Czech National Parliament in Prague. We were
very happy to learn about the way the Czech parliament runs. The meal in the
castle where every country presented their dances and songs made our trip very
memorable.
We greatly appreciate
your warm hospitality throughout our visit in Czech Republic. We had
unforgettable times. We are looking forward to creating more memories soon in
Estonia.
TARTU-ESTONIA (16th-20 th March 2015)
Tartu was such a lovely and peaceful city. When unexpected
sunny weather is added to this, we enjoyed a lot to pass time in this beautiful
city. We could not wear our warm clothes that we bought only for Estonia.
It was a lovely small international school where
international students are educated. After Czech Republic, all the partners
could come together here. Every country made presentations about their charity
works and national stories which were made into plays. We had emotional times while listening to the
Estonian charity volunteer.
The trip to the the Centre of Science AHHAAA was an
unforgettable memory which will make us smile whenever it is remembered. We
proved how brave we are by riding the bike on the rope hang high above the
ground It was so different for us to be able to watch a class about lego robot
programming.
One of the best parts of the mobility was Tallinn trip.
Wehad the opportunity to stroll through
Talinn old town with our guide and enjoyed photography through all quarters of
the Old Town.
Thank you Kristie and
your beautiful team for your warm hospitality. We
appreciate Estonian people always being on time and very organizedJ
ARCACHON-FRANCE
(18th-24th May)
We had heard lots of
good things about Arcachon before our mobility, which made our curiosity grew
bigger about the city. We were 4 teachers and 3 students. Our plane landed in
Bordeaux and the great hospitality started at the airport where our partners
picked us up from. Forests streching on
both sides of the road impressed us. Finally, we were there. Arcachon houses
along the Atlantic coast were very impressive. On the first day of our arrival,
we were welcomed to Marc and Dominique’s house which has a beautiful view of the
ocean. Thanks so much for inviting us, we crave your delicious snacks. Everybody was working very diligently. We will
never forget Maryline who spent her whole energy until the end for us. We are
so sorry for giving you a backache which prevented you from walking.
Our students were very
lucky to have the opportunity of sailing provided by Arcachon sailing club. It
was fantastic to organize such a big event in the green field wherethe national games of each country were
displayed. The dance night on which the national dances were presented were
excellent. It was an unforgettable moment for us when all the parents,
teachers, students were on the stage to perform halay and Turkish style dances.
We appreciate your
warm hospitality, thank you so much for everything.
